Fall Fellowship 1999

Fall Fellowship 1999 was a great Eswau event. There were training sessions Saturday morning and chapter competitions that afternoon, including the 1st BIANNUAL BOXCAR RACE. There was also the annual Patch Action. The training sessions included drumming, willow lazy back weaving, basket weaving, lazy stitch beadwork, and U. S. History. In the afternoon there were many competitions including Black powder shoot, tomahawk throw, canoe race, two hole golf course, orienteering course, and the boxcar race.

On Saturday night was the annual Lodge Patch Auction, and we made a total of $1,997.00. At the business meeting, $500 of this amount was earmarked for possible flood relief to Scout camps in Eastern North Carolina.

LOTC/LLDC: What's in a Name?

Plans are being made for a completely different LOTC. The Lodge has voted to adopt the National O.A. Lodge Leader Development Conference model for our fall planning and training meeting. This is the event where Lodge Goals are set, the activities to follow. For a cost of only $9.00, it is a great opportunity to have your Chapter and committee really prepared for 2000. Brothers to be honored with the Founder's Award will be nominated and voted on at LLDC.
